After-Sales Service
Grand Harbour Yachts Inc. — Est. 1985, Kaohsiung, Taiwan
Our Commitment
A yacht is not finished on the day it is delivered. It begins with the first conversation, and the commitment continues long after the vessel leaves the yard. Grand Harbour provides a complete ten-stage process — from initial consultation through formal handover — ensuring every decision is grounded in engineering judgment and every stage has a named person responsible.
We are not simply manufacturers. After your vessel is complete, we remain the partner you can still reach when you need us.
Full Service Process

01 Consultation & Discussion In-depth discussion of intended use, operating waters, crew requirements, and budget parameters — establishing project direction before design begins. | 02 Hull Design The engineering team develops hull form, structural calculations, and preliminary specifications — ensuring the design is buildable before commitment. |
03 Spatial Configuration Full cabin layout, interior style, and functional zoning — confirmed by the client before construction begins. No revisions mid-build. | 04 Hull Construction GRP composite structure with traditional carpentry detailing. Every stage is documented with quality control records on file. |
05 Propulsion & Systems Installation Main propulsion integrated with electrical, navigation, and HVAC systems — installed and tested to specification, item by item. | 06 Interior Finishing Multi-stage mirror-lacquer application, joinery detailing, and furniture installation — durability and visual consistency achieved together. |
07 Waterborne Testing Initial launch with hull integrity, power output, and handling checks — confirming all systems operate within specification before sea trials. | 08 Vessel Survey Third-party survey to meet international or local registry requirements for the intended operating market, with all certification documents in order. |
09 Sea Trial Full-speed open-water testing for stability, system load, and performance. Clients are invited to participate in acceptance — nothing is signed off unseen. | 10 Handover Complete transfer of documentation, operating manuals, and warranty terms — with a recommended maintenance schedule and the start of an ongoing service relationship. |
After Handover
After handover, Grand Harbour continues to provide technical consultation and support. Wherever your vessel is berthed — in Taiwan or anywhere in the world — we will do our best to help coordinate local resources and keep your vessel in the best possible condition.
Over forty years, we have not just built yachts. We have built relationships that continue to work.
“On the day we hand over the vessel, our responsibility does not end — it simply changes form.”
